Mark Kenna

After completing an Electronic Engineering apprenticeship at Rolls Royce, Mark graduated from the University of York with a degree in electronic engineering with Music Technology Systems. Mark joined Dolby Laboratories as a Film Engineer in 1997 and progressed to Senior Sound Consultant, providing support to the International Film Industry. With a comprehensive understanding of the industry he has Helped many First Time Productions and Independent Filmmakers. Mark is Passionate about film and music and has always approached Picture and Sound from both a Technical and Creative angle with a keen interest in New Technologies and techniques that Advance Filmmaking. When he’s not working you’ll find him up a Big Hill on his Bike or down a Mountain on a Snowboard.

Who are we?

Mark Kenna and Alex Hudd have over 20 Years Experience in the Film Industry between them, having worked on more than 1,000 Productions from Feature Films to Documentaries, trailers and Commercials in over 100 film Studios, Cinemas and Film Laboratories around the Globe.

Alex Hudd

After graduating with a Degree in Electronic Engineering Alex joined Dolby Laboratories in 1996 as a Test Engineer, testing and servicing the latest Dolby Professional product lines. In 1999 Alex joined the Dolby Film Group as Film Engineer, progressing to Senior Sound Consultant, Production Services (UK), working on a Variety of Films and Equipment all over the World. Alex brings a down-to-earth, Friendly approach to the Creative process. Alex’s Passion lies with innovative Sound Design and creative Music composition, coupled with Meticulous attention to Detail. In his spare time Alex enjoys Writing and Recording music, Mountain Biking, running, camping and collecting Bakelite.
